Honor Guard

The Honor Guard of the Norwich City Police Department is made up of military veterans employed as Police Officers. These officers practice drill and ceremony movements several times during the year to maintain their professional appearance. The Honor Guard is an impressive sight at Veterans Day, Memorial Day observances, parades, funerals and other patriotic events. There are nine Police Officers who served the nation in the armed forces currently employed by the City of Norwich Police Department.
